You know how it goes: someone makes you a fantastic bean offer, but you have nothing to offer in return. Perhaps you can persuade your trading partner to do business with you if you offer them a favour later in the game, but remember – a promise is a promise, and what goes round comes round!
In this Boona Nostra expansion, you trade not only in beans and bean dollars, but also in favours.
Each player chooses a character card and the six corresponding favour cards. With these favours, players can improve their offers during the trading phase. The player who receives the promise places the favour card in front of them. Each player has a maximum of three favours available at any one time, which they can hand over to their fellow players during trading.
The favours can be exchanged during various phases of the game, and the player who promised the favour cannot refuse at that moment.
This expansion can be played with three to seven players and is only playable in combination with the base game Boonanza.
