Collect the right train and ship cards to build connections over land and sea. You score points for this, and you can earn even more points if you manage to complete routes. However, if you don’t finish your routes, you’ll receive penalty points at the end of the game!
Because you have to build your routes both over land and sea, you need to think carefully in advance about how many trains and how many ships to take. If your original plan falls apart because of your opponents, you’ll have to use valuable actions to swap trains for ships or vice versa.
